Bhakti Caitanya Swami was born on August 14th 1951 in Auckland New Zealand. His first contact with Krishna consciousness was while at university in Auckland where on the university grounds he saw devotees throwing flowers at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada while Srila Prabhupada was walking. In 1972 Bhakti Caitanya Swami left New Zealand to make an extensive world tour and met ISKCON devotees in London and later joined Srila Prabhupada's International Society for Krishna Consciousness. After taking initiation from Srila Prabhupada, he became involved in public relations and book publications for the Bhaktivedanta Manor (ISKCON's British Headquarters). In 1980 he went to South Africa to oversee ISKCON's activities as Temple President at Cato Ridge and to help with the overseeing of the construction of the Sri Sri Radha-Radhanatha Temple project.

His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami was born in Bengal in 1945, he met with  A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada at the end of 1976.From their very first meeting, Srila Prabhupada gave His Holiness the assignment of translating his books into Bengali and made him his Secretary for Indian Affairs. Within only a few months, Srila Prabhupada gave him initiation into the disciplic succession and soon thereafter, awarded him the order of Sannyasa. Along side his official responsibilities, His Holiness translated all of Srila Prabhupada’s works on major Vedic literatures, consisting of more than fifty volumes of books, into Bengali, as Srila Prabhupada had instructed in their very first meeting. Subsequently, he became a member of the Governing Body Commission of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and served as the Chairman of the Governing Body in 1989.

In the 80 he served as temple president in Spain and Venezuela. He has been traveling and preaching for the last 20 years in Latin America, US and Europe. in 2006 he published his book ¨Srila Prabhupada in Venezuela¨ in Spanish and it will be published in English this year if Krishna so desires. At present he serves as an active member of the Latin American RGB as zonal secretary for Central America.

From the very beginning of Maharaja’s spiritual life in ISKCON, Srila Prabhupada chose to show him special attention and favor. Seeing Maharaja’s dual qualifications as a Vaishnava scientist and a Manipuri Vaishnava, Srila Prabhupada personally trained him in “spiritual science” and gave great importance to his scientific work, and also instructed him to strengthen Krishna consciousness in Manipur. He was dear to the devotees for his saintly qualities and his powerful sankirtana, and for his disciples he served as their spiritual father and eternal friend. Srila Prabhupada gave special attention to Sripada Maharaja, even up to his last days in Vrindavana in November of 1977. He would sometimes refer to Sripada Maharaja affectionately as, "Our Dr. Svarupa Damodara" and "our scientist, Svarupa Damaodara", and there were hours of conversations between Prabhupada and Sripada Maharaja.

Bhakti-Tirtha Swami was born John E. Favors in a pious, God-fearing family. As a child evangelist he appeared regularly on television. As a young man he was a leader in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's civil rights movement. At Princeton University he became president of the student council and also served as the chairman of the Third World Coalition. Although his main degree is in psychology, he has received accolades in many other fields, including politics, African studies, and international law.Bhakti-Tirtha Swami directly oversees projects in the United States as a senior member of ISKCON's Governing Body Commision particularly Washington D.C., Potomac, Maryland, Detroit, Pennsylvania, West Virginia), West Africa, South Africa, Croatia and Bosnia. He also serves as the director of the American Federation of Vaisnava Colleges and Schools.A specialist in international relations and conflict resolution, Bhakti-Tirtha Swami constantly travels around the world and has become a spiritual consultant to may high-ranking members of the United Nations, to various celebrities and to Several chiefs, kings and high court justices. HH Bhakti-Tirtha Swami left this world on June 27th, 2005. He was suffering from advanced melanoma cancer.

Bhakti Vijnana Goswami is one of the leaders of ISKCON in Russia and is working tirelessly towards establishing a large new temple in Moscow. He was a brilliant graduate student, attending chemistry classes at Moscow State University before he meet devotees in 1977. In spite of heavy opposition from the state he decided to serve full time in the mission of Srila Prabhupada. He joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in London in 1975 and was initiated in that year with the name Ilapati dasa by ISKCON’s founder-acarya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. From 1977 to 1979 His Holiness was based in India, mostly traveling in West Bengal preaching Krishna consciousness and distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books. Bir Krishna Goswami spent his childhood in Long Island, New York. As an academically gifted student at North Western University, he began reading Srila Prabhupada’s books. Impressed by Srila Prabhupada's scholarship and saintliness Bir Krishna Swami became a member of the Krishna conscious community in Gainesville, Florida in 1971. Shortly thereafter, he was initiated as Srila Prabhupada's disciple. In 1972 he began travelling throughout the United States distributing Srila Prabhupada's books and lecturing at colleges and universities. This continued until 1974, when Bir Krishna Swami became directly involved in the publication of Srila Prabhupada's books in English and in Spanish. In early 1978 Bir Krishna Swami entered the renounced order of life in Lima, Peru. In 1995 he began to work on the GBC (Governing Body Commission). At present his zone includes Fiji, South-eastern United States, and Slovenia.

Danavir Goswami (Dr. Dane Holtzman) was born in Los Angeles in 1949. He studied sociology and economics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). While there he excelled in athletics and was selected the Most Valuable Player of 1970 (indoor volleyball) by the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and won the international 2-man beach volleyball tournament at Santa Cruz. On June 11, 1970, he met His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and received initiation from him in February of 1971. Under the direction of Srila Prabhupada, Danavir Goswami proceeded to inaugurate Bhakta Programs elsewhere in America, Europe, Africa, India, etc. Presently this comprehensive educational system for new devotees is standard throughout ISKCON. He is the author of many books. He currently serves as inaugural president of Rupanuga Vedic College (RVC)in Kansas City, Missouri.

Devamrita Swami was born on October 16, 1950 in New York City. At the age of seventeen, he received a scholarship to Yale University and graduated in 1972. Upon graduation Devamrita Swami began to study the literary works of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder-acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. In 1974, Devamrita Swami became an initiated student of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. He accepted the renounced order of sanyasa in 1982. In 2002, he accepted the post as initiating spiritual master.Since 1977, he has traveled worldwide, presenting the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness. Currently he is based in Australia and New Zealand, and frequently travels to India and the Orient on preaching missions.

Giriraj Swami was born Glenn Phillip Teton in the home of a respected Chicago lawyer. He met His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder-acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, in March of 1969, while studying at Brandeis University in Boston, and considered that he learned more from Srila Prabhupada in five minutes than he had learned in his twenty years of academic education. In 1972, after Giriraj had toured India with Srila Prabhupada, Prabhupada appointed him President of ISKCON Bombay as well as a trustee of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust. After Srila Prabhupada’s departure in 1977, Giriraj was awarded the renounced order of life and appointed president of ISKCON’s board of trustees in India. In 1982 he was made a member of the ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission, the ultimate managing authority for the movement, and went on to oversee the Society’s activities in Bombay, Mauritius, South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.

His Holiness Gopal Krishna Maharaj appeared on the auspicious day of Ekadasi, on August 14, 1944 in New Delhi, India. After graduating from the Delhi University, His Holiness studied Business Management at the University of Paris in Sorbonne and later obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration from the McGill University of Montreal. His Holiness Gopal Krishna Maharaj's life changed dramatically after he met His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on June 1, 1968. In two weeks he knew that he would accept Srila Prabhupada as his spiritual master. Srila Prabhupada sent him to India after he had served him as his personal secretary in 1975. In 1982, His Holiness took sannayasa, the vedic order of renunciation. His Holiness is now GBC of over 30 temples around the world with disciples in Russia, America, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.

He was born in the village of Jagannatha-pura near Orissa, India as Braja-bandhu.By the age of eight, Braja-bandhu had read the entire Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-bhagavatam and Sri Caitanya-caritamrta and could also explain their meanings. On April 8th, 1974, at the age of 45 he left home and relatives in quest of spiritual perfection. Carrying only a Bhagavad-gita and a begging bowl he wandered around India for one year and visited many sacred places along the river Ganges. He was searching for that person who could help him develop a true understanding of the maha-mantra. In 1975, at the opening of ISKCON’s Krishna-Balaram Temple in Vrindavana, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami accepted him as a disciple, gave him the name Gour Govinda and awarded him the sannyasa order, thus the name Srila Gour Govinda Swami. He left in 1996 while in Mayapur. during a discussion about topics on Lord Jagannath and is remembered in annual ISKCON festivals.

Indradyumna Swami is a disciple of A. C. Jayapataka Swami was born John Gordan Erdman on April 9, 1949 (the ekadasi after ramanavami) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA to John Hubert and Lorraine Erdman. He was born into opulent surroundings, his father’s father being the founder of a large paint factory, which was a multi-million dollar concern at the time of his birth. Later HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja was glad to see that his name - Gordan John (Gour Dhan Jan) - already suggested what Srila Prabhuapda confirmed, that he and two other devotees were formerly associates of Lord Caitanya and that they had taken their birth in the west to facilitate spreading Krishna consciousness around the world. In 1968, Gordan John took first initiation in Montreal, Canada and was given the name Jayapataka dasa brahmachari and he was very soon awarded 2nd initiation in New York. On the day of the most auspicious Radhashtami in 1970, in Calcutta, Srila Prabhupada personally performed the fire yajna and Jayapataka dasa got his sannyas initiation.

Kadamba Kanana Swami joined ISKCON in 1978 in Amsterdam. Until 1984 he managed projects in Vrindavana. From 1985 through 1990 he coordinated the construction of Srila Prabhupada’s samadhi in Mayapur. Then, for three years, he was the temple president in Vrindavana and later spent two years preaching in Europe. He took sannyasa in 1997 and is now an initiating guru.

Kavichandra Maharaja moved to Dallas, Texas, where there was a school in Krishna Consciousness for his three-year-old daughter. He also worked at the Spiritual Sky incense factory in Los Angeles. At nights he would go out and distribute books. For some time he managed the Radha-Damodara group. After that he went to Fiji for some time In 1981, he went to Japan and started book distribution and Harinama programs there. In 1982, Kavicandra Swami took sanyasa and was made the temple president of Tokyo. In 1986, he went to Indonesia and was made GBC and then of Singapore in 1989. He also visits Cambodia, Cyprus, Greece, Japan, Laos, Vietnam and Israel, and is co-GBC of Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Rio Muni, Sierra Leone, Togo, Zaire, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

Born in Aravade, a small village Maharashtra, Indian, he went to Mumbai for studying. In the year 1971, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was touring India with his foreign disciples and had organized a pandal program in Mumbai.. Intrigued, maharaj attended the whole Hare Krsna Festival and heard from Srila Prabhupada. Wanting to surrender his life to Lord Krishna, he joined Juhu under the able leadership of Giriraj Swami. As he was coming from a traditional Indian family, thee was some initial resistance. However, Maharaj not just made them favorable but transformed his entire village into Krishna consciousness by opening a fantastic ISKCON temple. He was been conducting Padyatra, Vrindavan parikrama and is in charge of World holy name. He travels and preaches to the remotest village in India to cities and universities in developed countries.

HH Mahanidhi Swami is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and currently resides at Sri Radha Kunda. He has lived in Vrindavan for many years now and for some time was the caretaker of Prabhupada's rooms at the Radha-Damodara temple. He is the author of many excellent books including the peachy publication 'Art of Chanting Hare Krsna.' His deep sadhana, wonderfilled lectures and well presented books are an inspiration to senior as well as junior devotees and his detailed study of Gaudiya Vaishnava-siddhanta has been of meritorious benefit. He leads scintillating parikrama's of Vrindavan, brilliantly elucidating Radha-Govinda's lila-stalis; he is uniquely qualified to write and speak about the science of Bhakti and he is a great ocean (Mahanidhi) of transcendental treasures.

His Holiness Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj was born in the outskirts of Mumbai in 1920 on the auspicious day of Dattatreya Purnima in the month of Marga Sirsha. He appeared in a family of Vaishnavas since 8 generations. In 1991, Maharaj accepted his second initiation and the renounced order of life (sannyasa) on the auspicious appearance day of Lord Narasimha from H.H Sivaram Swami. In 1996, Maharaj took another significant step in his preaching efforts when he arrived in the Holy Dham of Dwaraka and in 2003, ISKCON's 1st temple made completely in stone and in accordance with our ancient Vedic heritage was completed amidst great celebrations. He left this mortal world on 25th January 2010. His samadhi is locted at the holy dham of Nashik.

His Holiness Mahavishnu Swami  appeared in this world on 10 February 1945, in Birmingham, UK.  He entered the Bath Academy of Art at age 19, and graduated with honours in Fine Arts.  In 1971 he became a full-time temple renunciate and the same year he was initiated by his spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada was on a quest to spread ancient Krishna Conscious teachings to the west, as well as to re-establish faith in the ancient Vedas in India.  He requested all his disciples to assist in this mission. In 1976 he first visited India and traveled extensively throughout India with the BBT Library party. In 1977 Maharaja became involved in various projects throughout Nepal and India, and under the guidance of HH Prabhavisnu Swami he also traveled widely in the world to raise funds to build temples in Bangladesh and Nepal, including the beautiful Rupa-Sanatana Temple in Jessore, Swamibagh in Dhaka, and the Sri Radha-Govindahari temple in Kathmandu, Nepal.

A naishtik Brahmachari left home at a very young age of 9 yrs to become Sadhu and lived in jungles. Returned home and again left at the age of 17 years and lived at Shri Vrindavana dham. Became the disciple of His Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in the year 1974. Took Sanyas in the year 1975 at the age of 29. After taking Sanyas maharj traveled around the world over a dozen times for preaching purposes. He can preach the Vedic Philosophy in several languages such as Dogri, Urdu, Punjabi, English, Bengali, Gujrati and some of the African languages. He was instrumental in developing/establishing/running temples and preaching centers at Africa, England, America, Chandigarh, Vrindavana, Udhampur, Katra, Lucknow, Amritsar, Maharahstra etc. He is very loving and affectionate with people and helps them solve their problems. His Holiness Niranjana Swami was born on December 10, 1952, in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA. In 1972, his spiritual search took a turning point when he saw a Bhagavad-Gita As It Is, on the counter of a bookshop in Washington, DC. After completing his study of the "Gita", he continued his research of Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy by purchasing and reading several other publications from the same author, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.By mid-1973, he accepted a monastic life, moved into the Boston temple, and accepted initiation from his spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, in the early spring of 1974.

His Holiness Partha Sarathi Das Goswami, was born in Suffolk, England, 19 November 1952. During his studies, Maharaj had been endowed with the mercy of receiving some of Srila Prabhupada's books. Realizing the fundamental and spiritual significance of these books, Maharaj joined ISKCON, in Bury Place - London, 1973. In 1974, by the mercy of the devotees, Maharaj had been invited to South Africa to help propagate the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Having been inspired by his spiritual master, Maharaj started the legendary tent campaign. Through the years, it has attracted thousands through kirtan, lectures, dramas, and sumptuous prasadam (sanctified food).
His Holiness Prabha Vishnu Swami

Prabhavisnu Swami was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1950. He first met his future spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, in 1971 in London. In the following years, Prabhavisnu Maharaja served as the temple president of the Bhaktivedanta Manor just outside of London. In 1975 he was called to India by Srila Prabhupada to act as temple president in the Bombay, Juhu Beach centre. From 1975-1979 Prabhavisnu Maharaja helped establish Krsna consciousness centres in India and Bangladesh. Dedicating himself fully to preaching Krishna consciousness worldwide, in 1979 Prabhavisnu Maharaja entered the renounced order of life. He was then appointed the Governing Body Commissioner (G.B.C.) of ISKCON to oversee preaching work in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Burma and other parts of the world. In 1987 he was requested to be the G.B.C. representative for Australia and New Zealand and to initiate disciples in: Europe, Britain, India, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.

Prahladananda Swami was born in 1949, in Buffallo, New York. He studied at the University of Buffalo, where he received a full scholarship. In January 1969 he joined ISKCON and rceived both initiations that year from Srila Prabhupada. He helped open temples and distributed Srila Prabhpada's books and preached in universities. He also served as the president of several temples in Texas. In 1975 he joined the Radha-Damodara bus tour and travelled throughout the United States distributing books. In 1982, he entered the renunced order of life. In 1989 he became a member the Vaisnava Institute for Higher Education, in Vrndavana. In 1990 he was appointed to head the GBC committee of Health and Welfare. In 1991, the GBC made him the head of a ministry for members of the renounced order of life. He is dedicated to traveling and preaching. He is an initiating spiritual master.
His Holiness Purnacandra Goswami

Purnacandra Goswami, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, joined ISKCON in New York in 1976. He then traveled throughout America on the Radha-Damodara bus. In 1981 he assisted ISKCON’s mission in Hong Kong, and in 1984, the Philippines. He then went to India and preached at universities in Gujarat. In England, from 1987-97, he held classes and tutorials on the Bhagavad-gita and weekly Bhakti-sastri seminars at Bhaktivedanta Manor and the London temple. He began teaching these in other countries (Ireland, the Philippines, France, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, and Russia), and in 1997 he moved to Russia and continues to teach there, in India, and in Eastern Europe. He is the initiator and chairman of the Sastric Advisory Council (SAC) of the GBC. He has narrated an audio production called “Gitamrta,” and written a book entitled Unspoken Obstacles on the Path of Devotion.

Radhanath Swami was born in Chicago in 1950.In his teenage years, the longing for knowledge about God lead him on a journey throughout Europe and the Middle East, during which he undertook a careful study of the scriptures of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. This journey ultimately led him to India, where he lived for several years, met Srila Prabhupada, and came to reside in Vrindavan. For the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada, Radhanatha Swami moved from Vrindavan to New Vrindavan, where he served for eight years with astounding devotion and austerity. He then began college preaching in America, and in 1987, began to assist in the development of preaching projects in India, a service which he is doing to the present day. His dedicated efforts in congregation preaching developed the Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Mandir at Chowpatty, Bombay and the ISKCON Belgaum temple. Under his auspices, preaching programmes are developing in Kolhapur, Nasik, and Nigidi.

Born in 1954 in Hamburg, Germany, At a young age, he began searching for answers anywhere they could be found—from the esoteric teachings of the old world spiritual traditions to the modern theories of psychology and parapsychology. Satsvarupa das Goswami is a senior disciple of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), better known in the west as the Hare Krishna movement. Serving as a writer, poet, and artist, Satsvarupa dasa Goswami is the author of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's authorized biography,Srila Prabhupada-lilamrta. After Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's death, Satsvarupa dasa Goswami was one of eleven disciples selected to become an initiating guru in ISKCON.Satsvarupa dasa Goswami is one of the first few westerners ordained by Prabhupada in September 1966. He has been since established as a most prolific Vaishnava writer and poet. While traveling, lecturing on Krishna consciousness, and instructing disciples worldwide, he has published over 150 books including poems, memoirs, essays, novels, and studies based on the Vaishnava scriptures. In the recent years, he has created hundreds of paintings, drawings, and sculptures that attempt to capture and express his absorption in the culture of Krishna consciousness.

Sivarama Swami was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1949. His family immigrated to Canada where some years later in 1970 he first came in contact with Srila Prabhupada's teachings, via his transcendental books. He became an initiated disciple of His Divine Grace in 1973 and accepted the renounced order of life in 1979. He was requested to accept the responsibility of GBC member in 1986 while serving in the UK. He has been serving ISKCON in the UK in various capacities since 1980 and took responsibility for preaching in Hungary from 1988. Sivarama Swami is also well known for his deep knowledge of vaishnava literature, and has written several books about Krishna consciousness himself. In June 2003, Sivarama Swami announced his intention to resign as UK & Ireland GBC representative as from Gaura Purnima 2004. At present he is responsible for the rural farm community of devotees in Hungary called New Vraja Dhama.

HH Smita Krishna Swami was born in Sweden in 1952. He joined ISKCON in 1970 in Hamburg, Germany and recieved spiritual initiation from His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1971. In 1973 he moved back to the Sweden with the first group of devotees to establish preaching of Krsna consciousness in Sweden. He spent few years as one of Srila Prabhupada´s book distributors. And later switched to the Pujari service, when he took care for seva of Sri Sri Gandharvika Giridharí at Korsnas Gard in Sweden. He accepted the renounced order of life, vaishnava sanyas, in 1986 in Sridham Mayapur and since 1988 is the initiating spiritual master in ISKCON. Maharaj is known among devotees for his kind and meek, simple-hearted nature and enlightening lectures based on his many many realizations. He is preaching mostly around Europe (Skandinavia, Baltic states, Balkan states and middle Europe). The field of his interest is mostly to encourage farm comunities and self-sufficiency including cow protection in ISCKON. Since 1982 when Sweden farm project (Almviks Gard) was started he made his seat there.

In Sridhar Swami`s life, Srila Prabhupada`s sparked a thirty-five-year spiritual journey that began far from its ending point in holy India.  Sridhar Swami described himself as a shy person before coming to Krsna consciousness. Born John Colcleugh in 1948 in Vancouver, Canada, his quest for spiritual understanding led him, in 1969, from engineering school  to a Sunday feast at the Frederick Street San  Francisco Krsna temple. The first person he met at the door was a kind and energetic  devotee named Jayananda Dasa. Since it was early in the day, Jayananda invited his  young guest to vacuum the rug and help in the kitchen. By the end of the evening, John  was ready for more. He moved in to the San Francisco ashram to begin his study of Srila Prabhupada`s Bhagavad-gita As It Is. Later, he transferred to the fledgling Krsna center  in his native Vancouver.  In 1970 he returned to San Francisco for the Rathayatra festival and met Srila Prabhupada for the first time. John was deeply impressed and, having completed the required training, was initiated by Srila Prabhupada as Sridhar Das Brahmacari.

His Holiness Subhag Swami Maharaj took birth on 22nd December 1940 in Kolkata, Srila Prabhupada’s home town. He completed his intermediate from Scottish Churches College in Calcutta where in 1916 Srila Prabhupada had studied English, Sanskrit, Economics and Philosophy. His Holiness graduated in B.Sc from Kolkata University and completed BE in London. While studying there His Holiness was introduced to Krishna Consciousness and joined Radha Londanesvsra temple, London in the year of 1970 as a full time Brahmacari devotee. His Holiness was Srila Prabhupada’s personal assistant and also engaged in different services in ISKCON. Specifically, under the direct instruction from Srila Prabhupada, His Holiness translated different scriptures from Sanskrit, Bengali to English. His Holiness is one of the present gurus and prominent leaders in ISKCON. At present His Holiness is mostly preaching in the field of His Holiness Bhakti Swarup Damodar Swami and giving guidance to his disciples.

Suhotra Maharaja, born in Massachussetts, USA, in 1950, came in contact with ISKCON in 1971 & in 1972 became a disciple of Srila Prabhupada. His first few years he spent distributing Srila Prabhupada's books in USA as a brahmacari. In 1976 he traveled to India. A year later he based himself in Germany, from where he later expanded his preaching to East - European countries and Scandinavia. In 1982 he took to the sannyasa asram. He traveled throughout the world from 1988 till 1991, visiting many Asian and Australasian countries. At this time he became a member of ISKCON's Governing Body Commission for next 11 years. His area of responsibility was Norway, Finland, Benelux, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. He preached extensively in these countries. From mid 90's he started to write books. From 2001 he started to spend more time in India. In 2005, he moved to Sri Mayapur Dham till he left this mortal world in April 2007.

Tamal Krishna Goswami has served on ISKCON's Governing Body Commission since its inception in 1970. In January 1972, he accepted the renounced order of life (sannyasa) from his spiritual master, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in Jaipur, India. He served as ISKCON's first GBC Secretary for India from 1970-74 and was appointed trustee of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, responsible for U.S. sales. In 1977, he served as Srila Prabhupada's last personal secretary. Since that time, he has served as the GBC Secretary for Texas and a large number of countries in the Orient. He left the world in March 2002 . His Holiness Vedavyasapriya Swami Maharaja was born in an Audichya Sahasra Brahmin family on 1st August 1944.Within a week of arrival in the USA, he had association of the disciples of His Divine Grace, Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada. Circumstances led Vedavyasapriya Swami to give up mundane research and take full shelter of the Supreme Absolute Truth. Since before his first initiation by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada in 1977 in New York, Vedavyasapriya Swami has served the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in various capacities including personal secretary to the GBC, President of ISKCON of Queens, NY, Director of Bharatiya Community Services in New Vrindavan, West Virginia. After 1987 Vedavyasapriya Swami shifted attention to serving India following the instruction of Srila Prabhupada that every Indian trained in the West must help to serve in India. Since 1991 Vedavyasapriya Swami Maharaja has been based in Vrindavan.
His Holiness Vishnu Jana Swami

Vishnujana Swami took birth on June 2, 1948, in San Jose, California. At the age of seventeen he moved to San Francisco along with his long-term girlfriend, who he married in 1966. It was also in 1966 that Vishnujana first came into contact with the Hare Krishnas, and by 1968 he had received initiation from Srila Prabhupada and was a full-time member of the movement. By July 20, 1970, Srila Prabhupada had awarded Vishujana the order of Sannyasa. Vishnujana was especially well known within ISKCON for his singing voice, and skill at playing instruments, such as the Mridangam (drum). Musical recordings of Vishunjana would later be released in 1995 and are still popularly sold within ISKCON today. Recordings of his lectures and singing are included in the official MP3 archive collection of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Yadunandana Swami — principal of Bhaktivedanta College, teacher, and spiritual counselor — is a sannyasi (monk, religious mendicant) in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He is an initiated disciple of His Holiness Satsvarupa Dasa Goswami and a sannyasa disciple of His Holiness Jayadvaita Swami, who are both disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON. Yadunandana Swami has been studying and practicing Caitanya Vaishnavism since 1977. Presently, his main services in ISKCON are focused on systematic God-centered education by developing educational initiatives and by teaching courses on Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata Purana), and other subjects. He is convinced that such education is the best way to improve the lives of individuals, develop communities, and, ultimately, better the world. Apart from his services in education, he is also active in interreligious dialogue and lectures on the philosophy and culture of Krishna consciousness in many countries around the world.
